Sins are welcomed

TV series

The series would be based on different tales that go on in a created city called "Rapture city." So far I have two episodes.

"Immunity"

Logline: The love between Bryan and Sheila gets put to the test when his friends try convincing him to cheat, and Sheila's jealous co-worker tries to sleep with Bryan.

Synopsis: Act 1 summary

The story opens with Bryan and his friends Nate, Adrian and Lonzo walking around the slums, drinking, smoking and talking loudly. The three begin questioning Bryan about being faithful. As the conversation carries on, Bryan's girlfriend Sheila pulls up on him with an attitude.

As Bryan gets into the car, his friends are making fun of him. He laughs it off and Sheila speeds off into the night. The two have an argument about Bryan staying out late, ruining their date night. After a few exchanged words, when they arrive, they engage in some passionate romance.

The following day, Bryan is playing the game with his friends online and they're making fun of him because of the way Sheila picked him up. While the group is laughing, Bryan gets a call from Sheila letting him know she's off and for him to come pick her up.

Before he goes to pick Sheila up, he stops to get her some Chinese food and that's when Lashawn attempts to get his number. He tries to laugh it off, but she gets aggressive, so he baits her into believing he'll give her his number and just when she gets excited, he tells her something disrespectful and then pulls off laughing.

In the beauty salon, Sheila is waiting for Bryan to pick her up, while looking through pictures on her phone. Charmaine is doing someone's hair, while mean mugging Sheila. Charmaine begins explaining to the woman how she wants to sleep with Bryan just to prove to Sheila every man is a cheater. When Bryan comes into the shop, Sheila makes her way to the back to get her things.

Charmaine walks over to him and attempts to get his number. He laughs in her face and just as she gets ready to respond, Sheila comes up questioning her about talking to Bryan, and Charmaine quickly plays it off as if she was just trying to have a friendly conversation.

Act 2 summary
While in the beauty salon, the other workers are trying to inform Sheila about Charmaine trying to talk to Bryan and Sheila tells them Bryan already told her. This confuses the workers and that's when Sheila explains women should know the difference between a man valuing their body or their value.

In the kitchen at Bryan's job, they just finished the breakfast rush. Bryan and Nate are making some food before getting ready to set up for the next shift. While they're eating, they have a conversation about why women cheat. Nate is having a hard time believing what Bryan is saying and that's when the chef explains the difference between a genuine woman and a woman you should stray away from.

While Charmaine and her man Daniel are getting dressed to go to the mall, Daniel tries to get intimate with her and it causes an argument because Charmaine isn't attracted to him in a sexual way, only dealing with him because he spends his money on her and does whatever she says. Daniel catches an attitude and Charmaine explains how both men and women lie to get what they want. And once they get it, they may or may not continue talking to the person who gave it to them.

Later in the day at the mall, Bryan and Sheila are in the lingerie store. Sheila asks Bryan to pick her out some perfume, while she looks over the lingerie. Charmaine and Daniel come into the store, and Charmaine tells Daniel to go in the back to find her something.

Daniel goes to the back and Charmaine tries to get Bryan's number again. He tries walking away and Charmaine grabs him. This causes a quick argument that Daniel steps in on. Before the two can fight, Sheila breaks them up, saying it ain't worth it. Charmaine is ready to fight, but Sheila brushes her off and they leave.

Charmaine questions Daniel about defending her, and this makes him rush out of the store following behind the two. While Sheila and Bryan are talking about what happened, Daniel runs up and hits Bryan upside the head. Unfortunately for Daniel, he didn't knock Bryan out, so a fight breaks out.

A crowd of people surround them, cheering and recording the fight. Sheila is stunned for a second, but when she comes to, she starts helping Bryan beat up Daniel.

Charmaine comes over pulling Sheila off Daniel, followed by a punch in the mouth. Now the ladies begin fighting, but Sheila is getting the best of Charmaine. Bryan looks on laughing as he watches Sheila knock Charmaine out. A guard comes over placing Bryan under arrest. As he complains about being in handcuffs, Sheila tries explaining it was Charmaine and Daniel's fault. Since the guard doesn't want to hear what Sheila is trying to say, she hits him in the mouth.

Sheila ends up getting put under arrest, and as the two are getting escorted out of the mall, they express the love they have for each other.
