A beautiful suiccide

Logline: Ja’mere spirals into a drunken debate with his own fractured psyche, contemplating a horrific act against Mimi, fueled by a warped sense of entitlement and refusal to acknowledge his abusive behavior.

​

Synopsis: Intoxicated and filled with rage, Ja’mere paces back and forth in his ex-girlfriend Mimi’s basement. Holding a nine-millimeter, he’s conversing with himself about how his abusive ways displayed the love she needed to stay on the straight and narrow. In his mind, he believes the gun is disagreeing with his actions, so he places the barrel to his head threatening to kill himself. 

​

Lowering the gun, he starts thinking about the reasons why he really loves her, but just as quick as the thoughts enter his mind, he’s instantly filled with rage again, unable to comprehend how she kicked him out of her life, because in his mind, he’s the best man she’ll ever have in her life.

​

Releasing a morbid chuckle, he hits one of the lines of cocaine, followed by throwing a shot back before shooting himself in the leg, indicating the only person who can place the emotion of pain within him is himself. Tired of explaining himself to the gun and arguing with the voices in his head, he goes to the other side of the room where he has Mimi gagged and tied down to a chair. He takes a seat in front of her and then picks up a shotgun, giving her the ultimatum of rekindling their relationship or death.

Logline: Darryl belittles his girlfriend Sharice to impress his friend Ryan, unaware that the "leash" he thinks he holds is about to snap, unleashing something he can't control.

​

Synopsis: While Darryl and Ryan are getting high playing the video game, he gets a call from his girlfriend Sharice to let him know she’s on the way home bearing something nice for him, but he instantly cuts her off and starts degrading her in front of Ryan to prove that he’s the man in the relationship. The conversation ends on a sour note, but Ryan praises Darryl as if he’s the man. When Sharice arrives home, the situation becomes dangerous for both Ryan and Darryl because Sharice has something sinister up her sleeve.

Logline: Head-over-heels for Darrell, Blake's ready for forever, but Darrell's hidden life could mean their forever ends before it even begins.

​

Synopsis: Blake and Darrell are taking a stroll along the beach. However, Blake appears uncomfortable and agitated due to the stares and judgmental glances from beachgoers. Darrell notices his discomfort and reassures Blake, sharing words of wisdom about self-confidence and the insignificance of people's opinions.

​

Later that night, Blake, still feeling vulnerable, asks Darrell to move in with him, expressing his desire for a more committed relationship. His suggestion catches Darrell off guard, and he reacts with anger and frustration, accusing Blake of insecurity. Darrell insists they need time apart, leaving Blake hurt and confused.

Bryan laughs nervously, trying to play it off, but it's clear it bothers him. Sheila pulls up in her car, furious. She unleashes a verbal tirade on Bryan and his friends, embarrassing him in front of them. She forces him into the car, screeching away. The car ride home is a shouting match. Back at their apartment, anger slowly turns into passion and they engage in a passionate sex session. The scene highlights the intense physical connection they share, a way they communicate beyond words.

Synopsis: Quinn, a middle-aged comic book company owner, is sitting in his study, deep in thought about a groundbreaking change that could revolutionize his company. His daughter, Vanessa, a bright and ambitious young woman, enters the room and notices her father's furrowed brow. She asks him what's on his mind, and he shares his idea with her.

​

Vanessa is excited about her father's plan and tells him that if he allows her to make the changes, everything will go perfectly fine. Quinn agrees but adds a condition - he wants Vanessa to involve Luke, the hotshot artist of the company. At first, Vanessa is disgusted by the idea, as she believes Luke's work is subpar, but she ultimately agrees.

​

The following day, Luke is working on a new drawing when Vanessa approaches him, critiquing his work and informing him that if he wants to get ahead, his work needs to improve. Luke takes her criticism to heart. However, as the people around Luke receive promotions, he ends up losing his job due to his jealousy and insecurity.

​

Desperate to get his job back, Luke approaches Vanessa and begs her for a second chance. Vanessa agrees, but only if Luke meets with her father to discuss his future with the company. During their meeting, Quinn reveals his gruesome plan to Luke.

Logline: One bite of forbidden fruit, a lifetime of regret. Trapped in a cannibalistic hellscape, Audrin must confess his affair to Da’rye, or watch his family become the ultimate sacrifice.

​

Synopsis: Audrin and Da'rye are talking about a dream Da’rye had, that was bizarre and symbolic about needing to change his life. Da'rye's story unsettles Audrin, who has secrets of his own. Audrin tries to brush off the strange conversation. Da'rye offers Audrin a seemingly harmless drink. Audrin takes a sip and is immediately repulsed by the taste. Da'rye reveals the drink was his urine. Before Audrin can react, Da'rye knocks him unconscious.

​

Audrin awakens tied up in an abandoned meat factory surrounded by the eerie remnants of its former purpose. He's stripped down to his boxers, vulnerable and terrified. Da'rye appears, wearing a blood-soaked apron, his eyes burning with a fanatical intensity. He is no longer the friend Audrin knew. Da'rye accuses Audrin of having an affair with his wife. Audrin vehemently denies it, confused and bewildered.

​

Da'rye presents Audrin with the disemboweled corpse of his wife. Audrin is in shock. Da’rye is completely deranged and dangerous. Da'rye lays out his terms. Confess to the affair, or I’ll systematically kill members of your family.

Logline: Adultery checks in, but never checks out. In a decaying motel, four people learn that the mind of a betrayed lover is the most dangerous room of all.

​

Synopsis: Tyrell is leading a double life. He’s seen texting his mistress on the side while speaking on the phone with his wife, making plans for the evening with both of them. The title card appears, and the scene cuts to Tyrell arriving at his home, expecting a romantic evening with his wife. However, he is suddenly knocked out and abducted. When Tyrell wakes up, he finds himself in a decrepit hotel with three other captives - Max, Danielle and Keysha. They’re all in fear as a masked person enters the room, and a voice over the speaker announces that they are all going to die. But before that, they have a chance to find out what they all have in common, which is the reason why they are there.

 

As the night progresses, the masked person starts to kill them one by one. Tyrell, Max, and Keysha try to find a way to escape, but to no avail. They soon realize that their captor is aware of their every move, and they are trapped. Danielle, however, remains calm and tries to reason with their captor, trying to find out why they are all there. As the night goes on, the captives start to uncover the reason why they are all connected.

Synopsis: A man sits alone in his small apartment, surrounded by books and papers. He's been engrossed in research, questioning the current rules and regulations that govern society. He sighs, feeling a strong desire for change. He begins to ponder the idea of creating a new amendment that addresses these issues. He's always been fascinated by the power of laws and the influence they have on society. He considers the possibility of amending the constitution to reflect the changing times and people's evolving needs.

Logline: Tiffany and Bernard, who are haunted by their fathers' destructive choices, find solace and a fighting chance at escape in an unlikely friendship that blossoms amidst the wreckage of their families.

​

Synopsis: Tiffany is cringed under the covers with her eyes locked on her twisted father standing by the door zipping up his pants, proud that he just finished molesting his daughter. On the other side of town, Bernard is working out in the basement filled with hate, when his mother comes downstairs trying to convince him to let go of the past because there’s nothing that can be done to change it. 

​

The following day at school, Bernard is walking with another student in the lunchroom that’s talking bad about Tiffany, which makes Bernard take interest to find out if what the student is saying is true. When Bernard sits at her table, she’s shy at first, but she gradually opens up, and just when he’s about to ask her about the rumor, the high school bully approaches him, and because of what he says it leads to a fight.

​

While Bernard is in the principal's office, Tiffany comes in to express her gratitude, and Bernard leaves her with a few motivational words, along with his number. That night while Bernard and his mother talk about the fight, there’s a knock at the door. Bernard opens the door and snatches his father inside ready to fight him because of what he did to his mother, but his mother gets him to calm down and leave the room so she can speak with his father so they can finally get him out of their lives. 

​

At Tiffany’s house, she happily writes about Bernard in her diary, and that’s when her father comes into the room prepared to attack her, but this time, she stands her ground and turns the tables, leaving him with a few words before leaving the house. While she’s at Bernard’s house, his mother gives her some uplifting words and then leaves the two alone. Bernard explains the reason why he stood up to the bully is because of what his father was doing to his mother, and Tiffany tells him the rumors about her is because of what her father was doing to her.

 

The next day in the afternoon, Bernard is cutting the grass when Tiffany’s father assaults him with a bat. Bernard’s mother comes out and shoots him in the leg, and then immediately checks on Bernard. Tiffany comes rushing out the house disgusted by her father’s actions, and just as Bernard’s mother stands up prepared to shoot him, Tiffany’s mother and the police pull up on the scene.

​

Synopsis: On a clear spring day, Justin comes walking down the park path carrying a paper bag and a styrofoam cup. He takes a seat on the bench and inhales a deep breath of fresh air, releasing the pleasing thought of being clean from drugs for eight years. He begins explaining his story about the pros and cons of his drug adventures, but now, he understands why people were telling him he should enjoy the simple pleasures in life. 

 

Opening the bag, he removes some soup crackers and then walks over to the pond to feed the ducks, while he continues explaining his story. Pausing from feeding the ducks, he removes his sunglasses, and now he’s back in his cluttered room with drugs and a gun on the table in front him. Now… He explains how addicts can never shake the monkey on their back, especially if they remain around it, so there’s only one thing that can be done.

Logline: After years of silence, Giselle finally confesses the dark reason why she kept Rosa's father away, but Rosa's own carefully guarded secret threatens to unravel everything.

​

Synopsis: Rosa is standing in her living room in front of her apartment door when her mother Giselle comes in radiating happy energy, but Rosa is annoyed, hoping the conversation they’re about to have is short and sweet, getting straight to the point. Giselle tries to make small talk, and Rosa brushes her off, heading to the table so they can eat and have their discussion about her father. Giselle continues trying to make small friendly talk, and this causes Rosa to say, “You can leave if you don’t want to speak on the topic about why I invited you over.” 

​

Fed up with Rosa’s attitude, Giselle begins explaining why she kept Rosa’s father out of her life, but Rosa isn’t satisfied, believing Giselle is telling her lies, so… She reveals what she believes is the truth, and this turns the simple conversation into words of truthful hate.

As Carter continues with the questions, he soon finds out how demented Steven is, and why no matter what he’s been charged with, when he’s cleared he’ll continue where he left off.

Cameron's perception of love has been distorted, and he has developed unhealthy ways to cope with the emotional pain. Lately, Cameron's emotions have been all over the place. He feels confused, angry, and frustrated, and he doesn't know how to manage these feelings. One day, he discovers the dangerous world of cutting, and he becomes drawn to it. He sees it as a way to release the pressure building up inside of him.

 

However, Cameron's actions take a dark turn when he starts to associate his cutting with his romantic relationships. Whenever a woman he dates doesn't meet his expectations or fails to understand his vision of love, Cameron becomes enraged. He feels that they have failed him and he takes it out on them, physically and emotionally. Cameron's violent behavior escalates, and he ends up murdering several women. He displays their bodies in his bedroom, convinced that they were the ones who didn't understand the true meaning of love.

Montages of Gwen's pregnancy and John being attentive and caring begins. There might be subtle hints of tension or John's drinking, but Gwen dismisses them or rationalizes them. She’s blinded by her happiness and her desire to believe in him. John is present, supportive, and overwhelmed with emotion when the baby is born. He cradles the child, promising to be a good father, but promises sometimes get broken.

Carl, realizing the error of his ways, tries to get up and make things right, but the drinks get the best of him, and he passes out in his own vomit.

​

One fateful night, Carl's addiction gets the best of him, and he overdoses in front of Tamara. Nikki, scared for the safety of her family, gives Carl an ultimatum: get clean or leave. Carl, realizing the gravity of the situation and with the support of his family, he goes clean.


Years go by, and he's rebuilt his relationship with Tamara, who's now a teenager with a bright future ahead of her. But just when things are starting to look up, Carl's drug dealer reappears, threatening to drag him back into the dark world he's worked so hard to escape. Carl must now make a choice: risk everything he's worked for, or stand up to the man who's been the source of his pain and suffering.

The third story is about a man explaining how people don’t understand the true meaning of happiness.

The fourth story is about an egotistical rapper who views himself as a God.

 

The fifth story is about how gossip always ends with everybody losing.

 

The sixth story is about a woman telling her story about how women are treated, and why they allow themselves to be treated this way.

 

As the figure finishes the last story, the figure removes their hood, revealing themselves to be none other than the legendary Grim reaper.

Synopsis: A man stands on the ledge, gazing upon the pandemonium below with a disturbing sense of satisfaction. He begins speaking about how humanity praised the internet and overlooked what the internet had in store for humanity. As the chaos continues, the man removes its mask revealing that it’s a cyborg and the end of humanity is highly appreciated because this is what it deserved.

Logline: Halloween night becomes a nightmare when Joel's confrontation with his daughter awakens a forgotten evil tied to his past, proving that some secrets are best left buried.

​

Synopsis: The story opens on Halloween night. Joel is visibly annoyed by the decorations, costumes, and general festive atmosphere. An argument erupts between Joel and his daughter, accusing him of being a killjoy and resenting her happiness. He criticizes her for being frivolous and disrespectful. In a moment of anger, fueled by years of suppressed resentment, Joel shouts that if she doesn't like his rules, she can leave.

​

The doorbell rings. Joel, still enraged, answers it, expecting to be greeted by a group of costumed kids. Instead of children, Joel finds his porch engulfed in flames. Panic sets in. Joel rushes inside to grab a bucket of water, frantically scooping from the kitchen sink.

He returns to find the fire mysteriously extinguished. Confused, Joel goes back inside, ready to resume the argument with his daughter. He searches the house, but she's nowhere to be found. Logline: Blinded by teenage love, Monica marries her high school sweetheart, only to discover a monster lurking beneath his charming facade, turning their dream life into a terrifying domestic nightmare.

Synopsis: High school seniors Monica, Deena, Jason, and Craig are gearing up for the most exciting night of their lives: the prom. Monica is unsure if she even wants to attend, but her best friend Deena is determined to convince her. Meanwhile, Jason and Craig both have their sights set on taking Monica to the prom, with Jason convinced that he will be the one to not only take her to the dance but also take her virginity. However, their world is turned upside down when, on the night of the prom, Monica and Deena find themselves in a terrifying situation, almost becoming victims of a violent attack. Thankfully, Craig comes to their rescue, but not without consequence. In his attempt to save his friends, Craig ends up with a shattered ankle, ultimately preventing him from pursuing his dream of playing in the NBA.

 

Despite the hardship, Craig and Monica find solace in each other, and their relationship blossoms into something more. They eventually get married and Monica is currently four months pregnant. But with a baby on the way, Craig can't help but feel the weight of the career he could have had, leading to a heated argument with Monica. The argument ends in tragedy when Monica falls down the stairs and suffers a miscarriage. As Monica grapples with the loss of their child, she soon discovers that there is more to the story of that fateful night at the prom.

Machi's mother notices her radiant smile and asks, "You seem incredibly happy today, my dear. What's making this birthday so special for you?"

Machi looks at her mother with sincerity in her eyes and responds, "I'm just so grateful that everyone is here to celebrate with me, especially my friends. I feel like I can truly be myself around them, and their support means the world to me." Machi's father, an alcoholic, stumbles into the kitchen, trying to ruin the moment.

Machi goes into the dining room. She carefully places the birthday cake in the center of the table and begins to cut slices for everyone. Machi's heart-warming, yet deadly serious speech leaves her family and friends in awe. They realize that despite her young age, Machi has already learned valuable life lessons about love, gratitude, and resilience in the face of adversity.

People are dying."

He speaks aloud, seemingly to the empty room, about the joy of Christmas, the importance of family, and the warmth of togetherness. Jack continues his monologue, his voice growing darker and more controlled. He reveals that last Christmas was the last time he spent with his family, before a tragic car accident took their lives. Jack removes the gag from Nathan’s mouth. Jack tells Nathan he’s about to give Nathan a personalized Christmas “gift” of death.
