SYNOPSIS
On a sun-drenched afternoon at Belle Isle, Ja’mere and Mimi share a tender, flirtatious moment overlooking the Detroit skyline. Their words are affectionate and playful, but a second, unspoken narration running beneath the scene reveals a far darker truth. Ja'mere's mind is split between the doting boyfriend he performs and a cold, controlling inner voice that views Mimi with contempt, resentment and proprietary menace. This dual perspective becomes the episode's driving device, exposing the gulf between the loving relationship Mimi believes she is in and the exploitative, abusive one Ja'mere and his inner voice have actually built.
The couple returns to Mimi's home for what should be a romantic evening. As she turns her back to put dinner away, Ja'mere's simmering rage fed by his inner voice's accusations that she plans to leave him erupts into sudden, brutal violence. He strikes her down and drags her to the basement, where the episode shifts into a prolonged, drug-fueled descent into his psyche. Surrounded by the trappings of his own self-destruction, Ja'mere holds a gun to his own head while his inner voice interrogates him relentlessly, forcing him to confront the abuse, insecurity, infidelity and childhood trauma he has spent the relationship projecting onto Mimi.
The extended dialogue between Ja'mere and his own fractured conscience functions as both confession and indictment. The voice repeatedly punctures his self-serving narrative, forcing him to admit that Mimi loved him genuinely, supported him financially and emotionally, and endured his cruelty out of devotion rather than weakness. Ja'mere oscillates between grief, self-pity and fury, unable to accept accountability even as the truth is laid bare to him by, essentially, himself.
When Mimi, bound and beaten, is finally given the chance to speak, she meets Ja'mere's plea for forgiveness with open defiance rather than the submission he expects. Her final act of resistance detonates his fragile control entirely. In a final, devastating act, Ja'mere kills them both, and the episode closes on the photograph that once symbolized their happiness now stained with the blood of the promise it once represented.

SYNOPSIS
In Rapture City, a chaotic metropolis consumed by systemic violence, gang disputes and indifferences. A personal war erupts between rival street factions led by Da' Juan and Kaylen. Destiny seeks retribution after her boyfriend, Lil B, is laced with lethal drugs.
During her shift at Sinful Slices pizza shop, Destiny poisons a delivery intended for Da' Juan with crushed fentanyl. The poisoned pizza kills Da' Juan’s twin six-year-old sons. As the children collapse, Kaylen and his crew ambush the home, brutally executing Da' Juan and his partner Pork Chop before setting the house ablaze.
As the tragedy spreads across local podcast airwaves and street chatter, the city spirals deeper into bloodshed, proving that in Rapture City, every act of violence only guarantees a deadlier response.

Episode one: Skinless perfection

A vigilante calling himself The Truth traps shoppers and corrupt city figures inside his store, forcing them to confess crimes and rescue kidnapped relatives before ritualistic torture and public execution consume them.
SYNOPSIS
A grieving mother takes her own life at her daughter's grave, setting a tone of buried grief beneath Detroit's surface. Months later, a mysterious figure known only as The Truth prepares to open a buzzed-about clothing store, "U Wanna No Something Funni?" while, unnoticed by the public, six prominent Detroiters' relatives have vanished without a trace.
The story unwinds through interlocking pasts. Mei, her mother Cindy, and her sister Suki seduce, humiliate, and murder men under the guise of romance, using Cindy's access to city records to erase the trail. Their latest target, influencer Felix, falls for Mei only to be lured and killed by the three women, but his death is written off as a robbery gone wrong. Elsewhere, newsman Victor Snail's friends assault a young woman, Kimberly, at a party. When she dies, Victor orchestrates a cover-up, secretly filming his accomplices to guarantee their silence.
On opening day, the crowd outside the storefront, locals, police and unknowing relatives of the missing six are lured inside and locked in. The Truth reveals himself over the loudspeakers. Each missing person is the family member of someone complicit in a hidden crime, and that relative must confess and race to a location within twenty minutes or their loved one dies on a livestream. Cindy, forced into a burning basement to save Suki, confesses on camera, while Victor, cornered by his own recorded guilt, senses the truth closing in.
As confessions and executions play out on screens around the trapped crowd, the store becomes a grim referendum on power and complicity. The Truth's closing message is that justice is what people are forced to inflict on themselves.
